Music Marathon Donor Guide
Help us reach our $14,000 goal!
Fundraiser ends on May 31, 2024

There are 2 easy ways to donate and credit your donation to a current MO student!

How to donate online:

For every $100 donated, $40 will support scholarships, $40 will support our piano fund, and $20 will support general operations.

Many students will customize their fundraising pages and share direct links to their pages with friends & family. If you do not have a direct link to a fundraising page but would like to credit a student, follow the instructions below:

Visit the Music Marathon Donation Page to make a donation and credit a student. Once you are on the webpage, you can:
  • Select "donate" in the upper right corner. At the end of the donation form, you will be directed to "select a student you would like to credit" from a drop down menu. Note that student names are listed in alphabetical order by first name.
  • Search for a specific fundraiser in the search box (we recommend searching by last name) and selecting "donate" by their name.

Note that crediting a student is optional, but if you know a student at the school we encourage you to credit your donation to that student! If you do not credit a student, your donation will still go toward our overall fundraising goal.

How to donate by check:

Please make checks payable to The Musical Offering. To credit a specific student, simply write their name in the memo of the check. You may turn in your check to the drop box on the wall behind the lobby desk at the MO, or you may mail your check to:

The Musical Offering
743 Custer Ave.
Evanston, IL 60202

Cash donations will also be accepted, but they must be turned into the dropbox on the wall behind the desk at the MO, and include a note in the envelope indicating your name and the student to credit if you wish to credit a student.

Thank you for donating to Music Marathon 2024. All proceeds from this event support music education, operations, programming at the MO. Music Marathon gives MO students and families an opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate the art of music learning and performance and is also our largest— and only—student-driven fundraiser of the year.

The Musical Offering is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We rely on donations to help us continue and expand our mission to provide high-quality music education and performance in a community-centered environment. Our recommended fundraising goal per student is $75.

All donations made to the school are 100% tax-deductible and will directly support our fundraising goals.
