Plugged In & Live classes will be held on-site in the Madison Room once Evanston goes into Phase 3 and the MO is clear to reopen. Plugged In & Live classes will not begin while the MO is in shelter in place, nor will classes be offered remotely.

Once the MO reopens:

Families will be notified when the official reopening occurs and we will be operating in accordance with the state. All of MO's social distancing protocols such as building capacities, mask requirements and drop off details will be sent out directly to families once we get the all clear to open.

Rock Band

For guitarists (electric), bassists (electric), piano/keyboards, drums, and vocalists.

Band consists of three to six members depending on the instruments. We focus on learning rock music. Players should have a minimum of 2 years playing and know how to play major scales in multiple keys. 

Ideal for people who have been playing a while and just want to try going to the next level by playing simple arrangements in a group setting.

When: Multiple dates/times

Class fee: $25 per class. For the Fall and winter/spring sessions, the class meets for 16 weeks for a total fee of $400. For the summer, the class meets for 11 weeks for a total fee of $275.

Prerequisites: If you've never taken a Plugged In & Live class at the MO, please email Erika (managingdirector@themusicaloffering.org) with the following information:

 

Name of student, instrument, how many years experience with that instrument. She will put you in touch with the Plugged In & Live teacher to go over best options for registration. Registration will be available online on May 18th for Summer Session.

 

Chicago Blues
