Private Lessons
(All ages)
The Musical Offering offers private lessons in piano,
violin, cello, double bass, recorder, guitar, flute, clarinet,
saxophone and voice. During the academic year, private students are
welcome to attend Sunday coffeehouse events and classes free of charge.

Composition

Study composition with Chicago composer James
Falzone. Mr. Falzone incorporates elements from
many musical and cultural traditions in his music and teaching. Work at
your pace and find your musical voice! Private or group instruction.
Day and fee to be arranged with Mr. Falzone.
Chamber Ensemble
(Ages 10-17: minimum 2 years of study.)
Study a wide variety of musical styles while
learning the art of
collaboration!
Fridays 4:00 - 5:15pm.

Fee: $175.00 for 15 weeks ($150 for M.O. students)
Group Voice Class
(Ages 7 and up)
Work on healthy vocal production, ear training,
sight
reading and ensemble singing in a supportive, age-appropriate setting
of 3-6 students. Times and fees vary.

songs, chants, movement activities and instrumental jam sessions.

Music and Literacy
Classes
(age 4-6)
Students will learn the rhythm of words through music and build vocabulary through creative repetition. Note reading, sol feggio singing, and instrument play will be a part of every class. Students will also learn about different styles of music and accumulate a beginning vocabulary to discuss musical ideas.

Breath and Body – a
yoga-inspired voice class - NEW! (Adults)
Become more comfortable with your body and find your
voice by using yoga-based breathing techniques to achieve vocal and
physical freedom
and ease. Work on the craft of singing in a supportive and nurturing
environment. Singers of all interests and levels of ability are
encouraged to
attend this one hour class.

Group

Learn
how to get the most from your voice by fostering healthy singing and
breathing
habits. Enjoy learning song and musical theater repertoire in a

Irish Music
(Adult Ensemble Class)
This is for adults who want to be able to play Irish music at sessions.
Learn to play tunes on the fiddle, flute, whistle, banjo, mandolin, or concertina, and meet like-minded Irish players.
Mondays 7:00-8:15pm for 8 weeks beginning January 7th
Instructors: Jesse Langen and Sean Cleland
Fee $120/10 weeks
We can also offer
whistle, flute, concertina, accompaniment, or fiddle in class format.
